Attention content creators in the Richmond Hill area! CBC Toronto has partnered with the Richmond Hill Public Library for a day dedicated to young emerging digital creators (age 16-24).
Join us on Saturday, March 25 to learn and share the essentials of digital storytelling while engaging with other passionate, diverse creators.
CBC producers, hosts, content presenters and journalists will share their industry knowledge. We’ll also have a local TikTok influencer to talk about how to build your social and digital brand.
Learn about creative-thinking, presentation, collaboration and media literacy.
Lunch will be provided with a takeaway meal for anyone observing Ramadan.
Everyone who attends the event will take home premium CBC swag. Plus, we’ll have a Digital Storytelling Sprint. The members of the winning group will each take home a $100 gift card to Hillcrest Mall, a special swag item and a one-week paid internship that will pair each team member with a CBC Toronto journalist. The goal: An opportunity to learn about content creation, plus the chance to create content that may be shared on CBC Toronto platforms.
Space is limited. Please see the full schedule below and book your free ticket now!
